Martin Vivès. Views and evocation of exile

This exhibition wanted to recover the memory of a painter of landscapes and everyday scenes and an important figure in the artistic scene of northern Catalonia in the twentieth century. He was educated in France where he was a staunch admirer of Cézanne, the Impressionists and the Fauvists, and played an important role during the Republican exile, helping Mollet’s politicians and artists such as Clavé, Flores, Callicó and Fontseré.
