Chapter 1: The Origin. Besòs: a noble ecosystem, by the DUAE Collective.
For the past two years, DUAE Collective (Silvia Campidelli and Luna Coppola) has been exploring and studying the Besòs River in relation to the city of Barcelona; an artistic research on its social, urban and natural ecosystem that has generated a great archive on the river, its history, biology and existence around the city. The research focuses on the cultural, biopolitical, chemical and biological realities of the aquatic environment of the Besòs River, which serves as a starting point for researching and addressing philosophical issues about the intersection between art, technology and science.
