BEYOND THE EGO
The main focus of Daniel Garrido’s work is the ego. Given that we live in a time dominated by individualism, the excess of ego is latent in almost every aspect of life and, of course, in the artistic realm. In his work, he seeks to speak of his denial by taking the degradation of graffiti as a reference. The trace or the urban imprint as a symbol of a necessary temporality in any process of denial or de-construction of identity.
