Museu Abelló

The Abelló Museum lends its works to exhibitions in other museums and cultural institutions. Currently, the works of our collection that we have lent are:

• For the exhibition Realism (s) between wars in Catalonia (1917-1936), the Museum leaves the works Amistat de Pere Pruna i Baralla, by Ramon Calsina. The exhibition will be on view from 4 July to 13 October at the Maricel Museums in Sitges and will then tour the museums of Valls and La Garrotxa until May 2020.
• For the exhibition Blue. The color of Modernism, the Museum leaves the large-format work Caves of Mallorca, by Joaquim Mir. The exhibition can be visited from 3 May to 25 August at the CaixaForum in Seville. Later, it can be seen at the CaixaForum in Zaragoza and Palma. The work will return to Mollet in the summer of 2020. In the meantime, the Abelló Museum will display a life-size reproduction of the work.
• For the exhibition MUXART, color and composition we leave the work “Still life”.
  This exhibition can be seen at the Museum of Mataró from July 3, 2014 and will remain in the permanent of the Muxart Space de Martorell.
