Education

Program for schools

The Joan Abelló Municipal Foundation has a program of visits and workshops aimed at different levels of education. Through the different routes, a selection of the works on display is observed and dialogue and reflection are provoked with the aim of knowing different artistic procedures and other concepts related to art.
At the same time, depending on the temporary exhibitions, specific visits and workshops are designed.

Family activities

On weekends, the Museum offers activities aimed at family audiences, as part of the “Art is a game at the Abelló Museum” program. These are dynamic visits to the Casa del Pintor, to get to know different aspects of the collection, followed by a workshop that plastically reinforces the contents explained.
At the same time, there are some workshops for boys and girls, who, through play, learn to observe works of art.

Birthday celebrations

  • Visit and activity:
The activity includes a workshop and a visit to a part of the collection.
  • Visit and activity plus party:

The visit, the workshop and the party must always take place during the museum’s opening hours: from 11 am to 2 pm, from 5 pm to 8 pm or from 4 pm to 7 pm, depending on the month in which it takes place.
