Museu Abelló

From May 3 to July 8, 2007 /

Exhibition curated by Arnau Puig on the background of the so-called Dau al Set group, of which the painters Joan Ponç, Antoni Tàpies, Modest Cuixart, Joan-Josep Tharrats and the poet Joan Brossa were plastic components.

The museum has an important number of works collected by these artists from the beginning due to the curiosity, interest and zeal of the collector of Joan Abelló.

The exhibition also showed the contemporary work of Joan Abelló of the events, which serves to show the point of connection with the action of the components of Dau al Set and an overview of the artists who, despite being contemporaries of the people of the group, due to issues of personal physical knowledge and given the difficulties of connection in those circumstances, they could not be part of that undertaking, despite being innovative creators.
