Isidre Manils – Cine Ateneo. The sequence
From September 9 to November 30, 2008 /
As a result of the union of the Joan Abelló Municipal Foundation of Mollet del Vallès and the Sabadell Art Museum, this exhibition project dedicated to the painter Isidre Manils was born. The exhibition at the Joan Abelló Museum, entitled “Sequence”, had a clearly chronological approach and represented the research and evolution of the artist from the first training concerns to the present day. The exhibition was divided into the following thematic blocks: Formation period (60), Conceptual seduction (70), Intuitions of the future: couplings, The expressive will (80), Contemporary icons and The fascination of images (1990-2008) .
