Aurèlia Muñoz. Infinite searches. Fibers, textures and space

This exhibition project was conceived as an anthological sample of this Catalan textile artist with a double objective.
On the one hand, to show the general public the work of Aurèlia Muñoz (1962 -2009), who is part of a generation of Catalan artists to recover for their weight in the evolution and representation of the Catalan art at an international level.
And on the other hand, to make known those artistic techniques with artisanal roots, which are not frequent in the exhibitions dedicated to contemporary art, and which are currently in contrast to the full virtual and technological euphoria, which are once again appreciated, valued and vindicated as “handmade”, “natural”, “authentic” …
