The work The Giant Menhir is exhibited in Portugal
The Giant Menhir of Mollet, the work of the artist Lola Lasurt, produced by a project in L’Aparador del Museu, is exhibited in Portugal as part of the exhibition Complejo coloso, where different artistic proposals are presented that reflect on findings archaeological sites.
This is a work that the artist Lola Lasurt showed in 2011 in an intervention in L’Aparador and has been in storage at the museum ever since. Until September 5, it can be visited at the José de Guimarães International Center for the Arts, along with other artistic proposals that reflect on archaeological finds, from the most scientific aspect to the collective imagination.
Lola Lasurt (Barcelona, 1983) investigates history as an open and self-critical process, through installation, painting, video and collaborative processes from an archaeological perspective of the media.
