The Abelló Museum participates in a program to disseminate cultural heritage through 3D images
The Abelló Museum of Mollet participates in the Generalitat’s ‘Giravolt’ digitization program to disseminate cultural heritage through 3D images. In this way, the painting ‘Homage to the landscape of the Vallès’ painted by Abelló will be able to observe all the details from different perspectives and do it from home.
A total of four works have been taken: two paintings and two sculptures. The works have been photographed from different angles and then can be viewed on the Internet in 3D, that is, to be able to see the work from a 360-degree perspective. The aim of this project is to spread the cultural heritage of both museums and buildings and reach new audiences through new technologies, especially young people. It can also be seen on the museum’s website. In September we want to do it again with other works by Abelló.
