Ismael Smith, engraver. From Modernism to Art Deco.

“Ismael Smith, engraver. From Modernism to Art Deco ”included a selection of engravings, original designs and ex-libris from the collection kept by the Art Museum of Cerdanyola, the result of a donation from Enrique García-Herráiz. The engravings allowed us to delve into the figure of Ismael Smith, one of the most peculiar Catalan artists of the end of Modernism, at the beginning of Noucentisme and the consolidation of Art Deco.
The exhibition was complemented by an area that presented some twenty works by Ismael Smith from the collection of the Joan Abelló Municipal Museum collection.
