Through the mirror. Joan Fontcuberta

Curated by Ramon Parramon and Joan Fontcuberta, the exhibition investigated the practice of art
as a means of production and transmission of knowledge: from the search for the means that
they nurture and distribute creativity, down to the methodologies and situations that facilitate the
active public participation in artistic processes and results.
In “Through the Looking Glass”, initially, two works were collected in which the artist used the resources that
offers Internet. With the specific title of GOOGLEGRAMS and REFLECTOGRAMS it was raised
a reflection on the importance and increase of images, the proliferation of authors, as well as the
potential for viral spread and dispersal, elements that increase with the use of networks
social.
