School activities for the 2020-2021 academic year are now available
Every year, the Museum presents to schools a wide range of educational activities for the coming year, a program of visits and workshops designed for different school levels and based on the heritage of the Joan Abelló Municipal Foundation: the collection’s collection, the work of Joan Abelló, the House of the Painter and the Menhir of Mollet.
In addition, depending on the temporary exhibitions of each moment, school visits and workshops are also designed.
All the activities are adapted to the school curriculum for the different educational levels (from infant, primary, secondary and high school education).
The aim of the Abelló Museum’s educational services is to encourage artistic education and participation in cultural activities, in order to develop children’s creativity and innovation for the training of critical and participatory citizens. For this reason, teachers are also offered the opportunity to teach their class from the Museum using the collection as a support.
This program, with the Museum’s educational offer, is available to all schools and institutes in Mollet and surrounding municipalities.
