Balance of URBAN FICTIONS
We have reopened the museums, but total normalcy has not yet returned. This has affected one of our most dynamic and participatory projects, that of L’Aparador, which we will not be able to resume until the different groups and collectives involved can meet again and work together.
And it is that the current cycle, URBAN FICTIONS, curated by Mixité, is very much based on a progressive and group work, in which different entities and groups meet to shape the final result of each chapter or exhibition project. Therefore, we have decided to resume the planned chapters until 2021 when it can be done with total normality and security.
In the meantime, we want to remember the path we have taken so far.
- Chapter 1: The Origin. Besòs: In Noble Ecosystem (April-July 2019), by Duae Collective, I explored the relationship between the river, the human being and the territory
- Chapter 2: Game of Kin (July-Oct 2019), from the Laboratory of Playful Thought. They proposed a science fiction game where participants had to relate to other species to survive: connect, wrap, and interact imaginatively.
- Chapter 3: Apology of the Weeds (Oct-Jan 2020), by The Nomads. Would weeds cease to be so in a less humanized context? Dialogue with local people about a new concept of urban nature
- Chapter 4: Cinemas-place (January – act), by A Home in Progress Film with the collaboration of artistic high school students from IES Mollet. A new way of looking at cinema in the streets of Mollet. Geolocated and shared cinemas without a room
