We work to make the Museum and our exhibitions accessible to all. For this reason, gradually since 2007, we have been incorporating different elements that bring the Museum and the collection closer and explain it to people with visual and hearing disabilities. With the support of the Cultural Heritage Office of the Barcelona Provincial Council, as part of the La Mirada Tàctil project.

The Touch Look

Tactile presentation of the Museum’s collection and contents. It consists of a touch module located at the entrance to the equipment that revolves around Joan Abelló: the character, his pictorial style and the collection he forged over the years.

People with visual impairments can enhance their visit to the Museum with an olfactory experience with fragrances that recreate some of the works in the Abelló collection.
