A world without maps. Joan Abelló’s travels

30/04/2019
Turquia

From May 18 to October 20, 2019 /

“When I travel, I don’t look at maps or ask anyone anything. I always go ahead. And if I don’t know where to go, I turn right. ” This is how Joan Abelló has been displaying her colorful cartography all over the world since she made her first trip abroad in 1962. The traveling Joan Abelló managed to live his life to the fullest and most intensely; of a man who loved his Mollet, often miles away.

This exhibition is a production of the Museu Abelló, curated by Susanna Portell.
