The Abelló Museum once again receives the Biosphere tourist distinction seal

The County Council has once again presented the badge that recognizes companies and establishments that design non-aggressive tourism products and services and that, in the long term, guarantee the balance between the economic, sociocultural and environmental dimensions. The Abelló Museum has had it since 2018.

Following the pandemic, the traditional meeting of Turisme Vallès to deliver the stamps to all the establishments and businesses involved, has had to be virtual. However, the clown Tortell Poltrona, as county ambassador, was in charge of personally delivering the badge during a visit to the Abelló Museum in March.

The Biosphere Commitment is a commitment that establishments, companies or entities in the tourism sector voluntarily acquire to work on the tourist sustainability of the destination. Therefore, it is an international system of sustainable tourism. The Vallès Oriental County Council is the managing body for the implementation of this commitment in the county.
